The Common Grounds Training Program is a free, 12-week food service training- to-employment program for the economically disadvantaged in our community. Every purchase you make is invested back in the individuals serving you, creating real opportunities for sustainable change in our community.  We provide Common Grounds with some barista training and educational seminars and demonstrations on coffee roasting.

 

Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard

The Community Cupboard is a non-profit organization that has been meeting the needs of local individuals and families at or below the Federal Government Poverty Guidelines for over 40 years.  We donate coffee for distribution at the Cupboard.

 

Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County,

SAAC enriches and empowers adults over 50 to create and maintain independence in all phases of life through recreational, educational, and social programs.  Their annual Meals on Wheels 5K fundraiser takes place in September.  We provide coffee for diners, and also for their annual 5K fundraiser.

 

Ella’s Retreat

Ella’s Retreat is a non-profit organization that provides lodging for families with children receiving proton therapy treatment at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).   We provide brewed coffee for Ella’s Retreat’s 5K fundraiser, which takes place every September.

 

Café Fememino

The Café Femenino Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides grants to programs and projects that enhance the lives of women and their families in coffee-producing communities around the world.  The foundation helps promote the integration of women coffee farmers into social, political, and occupational organizations by providing grants that help support the women’s efforts and enhance their status within the community.  Parry Coffee sends an annual donation to the foundation, based on the amount of green coffee we purchase through the program.

 

Inter-Faith Housing Alliance

Inter-Faith Housing Alliance provides charitable services to people in Montgomery County whose life situations have become unstable. Services include homelessness prevention, temporary shelter, guidance in life skills, and assistance in locating appropriate housing opportunities, in order to help families at risk live independently.  We donate for their auctions and fundraisers.

 

Hogs n Honeys

With a solely volunteer foundation, Hogs & Honeys strives to enhance the lives of the underserved and disadvantaged children of Montgomery County through private fundraising efforts.  We provided coffee for their auction.

 

Pennypack Farm and Education Center

Pennypack works with children, families, community groups, environmental and educational institutions to encourage awareness, and the creation of sustainable local food systems by offering educational programs and a community supported agriculture demonstration project.

 

Blue Star Mothers

Blue Star Mothers provides support to mothers (and others) who have children serving in active service of the United States military.  Parry Coffee provided coffee for care packages for soldiers overseas.

 

Ambler Junior Baseball and Softball
